Immersed in the peaceful Tuscan countryside and situated in the heart of the Val d’Orcia, this exceptional ten-bedroom villa is ideally located to explore the region’s most spectacular natural wonders. Situated in the heart of Tuscany, Property 188226 represents the perfect location for day trips to the most beautiful towns in the area and provides a unique opportunity to admire its iconic landscapes while soaking up the region’s historical and cultural heritage.

The villa is about a 20-minute drive from the walled medieval city of Montalcino, known as the home of one of the world’s most appreciated Italian wines, Brunello di Montalcino. From here, you can easily reach the picturesque town of Pienza, also known as “the ideal city of Renaissance”, and the town of Montepulciano: standing high atop a hill not far from Siena, the town boasts elegant Renaissance palaces, ancient churches, charming squares and breathtaking views over the wonderful Val d’Orcia.

In less than one hour by car, you can easily reach Siena, whose center consists of the beautiful Piazza del Campo, site of the twice-yearly Palio horse race, and the elegant Palazzo Pubblico and its Mangia Tower, from which it is possible to enjoy a unique view of the medieval town. Effectively a giant, open-air museum celebrating the Gothic, Siena boasts spiritual and secular monuments that have retained both their medieval forms and their exceptional art collections, providing plenty to marvel at.

Full of naturalistic wonders and artistic treasures, Tuscany is also renowned for its natural springs, whose waters, after having carved the rocks, flow aboveground and create natural pools in which you can restore your psychophysical balance. Known for its millenary natural springs, San Casciano dei Bagni boasts a luxurious spa center enhanced by a flourishing natural setting. The villa is also a few kilometers from Chianciano Terme, one of the most famous thermal bath towns in Europe, whose waters are popular for their therapeutic properties.

The Property
Located in the heart of Tuscany, only twenty minutes from Siena and a stone’s throw from Montalcino, Property 188226 is a late Renaissance structure. Built of red brick, with original oak beams and roof, and having terracotta floors and a lush Italian garden, Property 188226 can accommodate up to twenty guests in ten double bedrooms. The charming views of the surrounding area instantly give a sense of peace and calm, making Property 188226 the ideal place for relaxing under the Italian sun.

The villa is surrounded by a beautiful garden where you will find a magnificent pool and an exceptional poolside area furnished with comfortable sun loungers to bask in the sun on hot summer days. Offering a peaceful atmosphere, the area beside the pool represents the perfect place for enjoying wonderful moments of relaxation in the company of a good book and a glass of prosecco. The garden also features al fresco lounge and dining areas where guests can take in the spectacular views of the countryside.

Property 188226 offers ten double rooms. There are four categories of bedroom: three classic rooms, two junior suites, four suites and one family suite. On the first floor you will find three classic rooms, one junior suite and three suites, while on the second floor you will find the family suite, one junior suite and one suite. Each room enjoys breathtaking views over the property's ground or the wonderful Crete Senesi and comes with precious furnishings, paintings and fabrics.

In the family suite on the second floor, you will find a double bed plus two single beds, which are available on request for two extra guests. Each bedroom has its own en-suite bathroom. The bathrooms of the three classic rooms have shower, while the bathrooms of the other bedrooms have both shower and tub. On the ground floor, the interior living space is furnished with comfortable sofas and armchairs providing plenty of seating. High ceilings create voluminous spaces while giving a warm and traditional look to the whole area.

The ground floor also houses a spacious kitchen, which is reserved to the staff, and a generous restaurant which is closed to the public for the exclusive use of the villa’s guests. On the ground floor, near the restaurant, you will also find two guest bathrooms. On the first floor you can find a library and a sitting room with fireplace, while on the lower ground floor you will find an exceptional wine cellar. Please notice that the villa manager lives in the villa. Air conditioning and heating are included in the rental price.
