Take a boat to Tremezzo, one of the most romantic places on the Lake Como, and visit Villa Carlotta. Built at the close of the 17th century, Villa Carlotta was enriched by valuable works of art, including incredible sculptures by Antonio Canova, still on display inside the villa. But the main attraction is its luxuriant garden by the calm waters of Lake Como, which is divided into two parts, an Italian garden designed in the 18th century and an English one laid out by princess Carlotta herself.

The villa is just a stone’s throw away from Lenno, nestling by a little bay in the lake. The village boasts a beautiful 11th-century church, restored in the 16th century, with a baptistery nearby. From here, head for the grand Villa Balbianello. Do not miss the view of the lake from the balcony and allow a few hours to explore the rooms, in particular the Expeditions Museum, which has memorabilia from Guido Monzino’s travels. Take a walk around the gardens and enjoy the wonderful views from the trails.

The villa is a few kilometers from Argegno, a small village overlooking Lake Como in the area of its major depth. After walking along the characteristic and narrow streets of the old town, do not miss the chance to take in the beautiful surroundings. Situated in Limonta, Property 2160 is an exclusive 18th-century property surrounded by a hundred-year-old botanic park overlooking the lake with a unique 200-meter-length private waterfront. Proudly preserved by four generations, the villa is perfect for guests who wish to experience the most genuine Italian traditions together with the highest standards of privacy and comfort. With an elegant atmosphere, Property 2160 can accommodate sixteen guests featuring eight bedrooms (six double bedrooms and two twin rooms) with bathroom spread over three floors.

Surrounded by old cedars and directly overlooking Lake Como with its 200-meter-length waterfront, Property 2160 boasts an exceptional heated pool and a spacious poolside area equipped with sun loungers. Enjoy a memorable breakfast under the Liberty gazebo, relax reading one of the library books in front of the lake, or take a swim in the pool. Test your botanic knowledge exploring the lush garden and its botanic species, or just enjoy the purest lake experience boating or waterskiing. The grounds cover ten hectares and feature a botanical garden, a rose-lined footpath, a rock garden, a vineyard, olive groves and fruit orchards.

Flooded with natural light, the ground floor hosts a majestic 200-square-meter hall with frescoed ceilings.  The 18th-century marble fireplace, the crystal chandeliers and the elegant combination of family heirlooms with the finest antiques ensure a memorable experience. On the ground floor, you will also find a generous dining room with large table, a professional kitchen with breakfast table and all the amenities you might need during your stay, a laundry room and two modern guest bathrooms. The three floors of the villa are connected via a modern elevator and a beautiful staircase for the more romantically-minded guests.

The interiors of the villa are filled with antiques, carpets and chandeliers that have been passed down over the generations. A modern elevator takes you to the first floor of the villa, which can also be reached by an ancient stone staircase. The first floor features a study and a living area with desk, satellite TV and an elegant terrace overlooking Lake Como and the Alps. The two wings of the villa boast seven bedrooms (five double bedrooms and two twin rooms), each with its own private bathroom (two of the double bedrooms have en-suite bathroom).

The second floor boasts a games room, where guests can play pool table, cards and other games together. On the same floor, you will find a fully-equipped gym and an exclusive sauna with shower and tea corner. On the second floor you will find an exceptional double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with bathtub. Please note that all the rooms have private bathroom, while two double bedrooms on the first floor and the room on the second floor have en-suite bathroom. Two bathrooms on the first floor and the one on the second floor have tub, while the others have shower.
