The villa is a few kilometers from Ravello. Sitting high in the hills above Amalfi, Ravello is famous for its lush gardens and stupendous views, the best in the world according to former resident Gore Vidal.

The sight of Positano from a distance is breathtaking. Color is everywhere, reflecting on the tranquil sea, the silvery pebbled beach and the gleaming Majolica-domed church of Santa Maria Assunta. The houses built up from the waterside, accessible to one another via an endless array of steep stairs, boast pale sorbet colors. In summer, when the serried ranks of sunbeds fill up quickly, take a boat to explore the many small coves up and down the coast.

The ancient center of Sorrento is laid out on a Roman grid of narrow lanes, now lined with restaurants serving pasta and shops selling lemon-themed souvenirs. But away from the well-worn paths are little-explored nooks and crannies. The vaulted Sedile Dominova, once a meeting space for aristocracy, is now a working-men's club where old-timers while away afternoons playing cards. If Sorrento gets too much, the laid-back town of Vico Equense, which stands on a sheer tufa cliff along the coast, makes an attractive base.

Trapped between an infinite blue sky and azure sea, the spectacular cliff-top setting of the villa ensures superb panoramas. This historical villa can accommodate up to twelve guests featuring six double bedrooms and five bathrooms spread over three levels.

With spectacular views of the sea, the villa boasts an exceptional infinity pool and a generous poolside area furnished with comfortable sun loungers and deckchairs for basking in the sun. On the middle level of the villa, which is the entrance level, you will find a generous living room paved with terracotta tiles and high vaulted ceilings. Through a French door, the living room has direct access to a terrace with views of the sea. From the living room you can also access a generous partly-shaded and fully-furnished patio with barbecue.

Flooded with natural light, the middle level also houses a spacious fully-equipped kitchen with high-vaulted ceiling, elegant furnishings, an impressive stone fireplace and a large dining table that can accommodate up to twelve guests. On the same level you will find three comfortable double bedrooms and two bathrooms, one with Jacuzzi bathtub with shower, and one with large shower. Both bathrooms can be accessed from the corridor.

Accessed from the terrace along an external stairway, the top level of the villa houses a generous suite featuring a double bedroom, a sitting area and en-suite bathroom with large shower. On the top level you will also find a spacious terrace with sun loungers and charming views of the sea. On the lower level of the villa, which is the garden level, you will find a suite featuring double bedroom, sitting area and en-suite bathroom with shower, and also a sixth double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with shower.
